How this guide is chosen

How to choose a wreath or garland

Measure your door or mantel first. A wreath should fill about two thirds of the width of a door, and garland is easiest to plan in lengths of 6 to 9 feet. Check the product page for whether it is rated for outdoor use and whether it is pre-lit.

Hang a wreath with an over-the-door hanger or a removable hook to protect the finish.

Christmas Wreaths and Garland: common questions

How do I hang a wreath on a front door?

Use an over-the-door hanger or a removable adhesive hook so the door finish stays safe. Check whether the wreath is rated for outdoor use on its product page.

Are pre-lit wreaths and garlands available?

Yes. Many wreaths and garlands here are pre-lit. The product page tells you whether the lights are plug-in or battery-powered.
