Funny white elephant gifts people will fight over
The best funny white elephant gift gets a laugh when it is unwrapped and a fight when it is stolen. That takes funny and useful together: a ridiculous mug you will really drink from, movie socks, a game the room can play right there.
Everything here is $30 or less and in stock. If your group has a lower limit, check it before you buy.

How this guide is chosen
- Priced between $6 and $30, and in stock.
- Funny comes first, but each pick is something people can use afterward.
- Check your group's price limit and rules before you order.
How to pick a gift that gets stolen
People steal what they can picture using tonight. A silly mug, a pair of movie socks or a puzzle with a funny picture all pass that test, and a pure gag usually does not.
Wrap it in something plain so nobody can guess what it is, and check your group's price limit before you order.
Funny White Elephant Gifts: common questions
What makes a funny white elephant gift good?
It gets a laugh when it is opened and people still want it afterward. A silly mug, movie socks or a small game work better than a pure gag, because someone will fight to steal them.
How much should a white elephant gift cost?
Most groups set a limit of $20 to $30. Everything on this page is $30 or less, but check your group's limit first.
Are funny gifts okay for an office white elephant?
Yes, if the humor is mild. Silly and cozy is safe at work. Skip anything crude or personal, and keep the jokes about the object, not about people.
Should I wrap a white elephant gift so it hides what it is?
Yes. A plain box or bag keeps the surprise and makes stealing more fun. Do not use a wrapper that shows the shape.
What are good funny white elephant gifts for adults?
A novelty holiday mug, a pair of movie socks, a jigsaw puzzle with a silly picture or a small party game. Pick something people can use the same night.
